Day One Hundred and Twenty.
I love the Gromit bokeh in the first one :)  He loves his tennis ball...especially if it's one of the squeaky ones, he would play fetch all day long if there was only someone around to throw the ball!

Day One Hundred Nineteen.
It's blurry. But that's how today seemed for me. Stupid sinus headache! (which must mean it's supposed to rain all weekend of course). Anyways, that left me feeling yucky and really dizzy. Throw in an 11 month old who did not want to be apart from her mama....and I had a little accomplice all day, helping to throw off my balance and be right under my feet :)

Day One Hundred Eighteen.
He enjoyed picking flowers for me today after his kite flying adventure was a huge fail (thanks a lot wind for dying on me and the picture opportunity!)

Perfect afternoon to play in the grass and pluck pretty flowers weeds while barefooted :)

Day One Hundred Sixteen.

Macro Monday- not a true "macro" but I broke it out as a portrait lens again today.
Poor sweet Ellie. She wasn't a fan of the bubble machine I bought...
earlier, she loved it- it was instrumental in me getting some shots for her first birthday invitation, similar to the one below..

but it was a scary beast when I put it out in the backyard later!!

Day One Hundred and Fifteen.

Proof Ellie isn't always smiling (Carrie!)...she had been having fun in the backyard, pushing her shopping cart around. This is after she got it stuck and it toppled over....she was being a little opinionated about it before Daddy came to her rescue ;)

Day One Hundred Fourteen.

Can't pick just one today- so it's compilation time :) (And I'm not fancy enough to make a collage like some other fellow 365'ers...some day I'll learn that skill! )

Gavin checking out the wheels on Daddy's plane, "They're circles Mama!!"

Ellie girl was not a fan of her sun bonnet and ripped it off shortly after the obligatory picture of her wearing it.

The USAF Thunderbirds were amazing (as usual!). Gavin was not a fan and kept asking to go hide under Andrew's plane (the B52). ;)

Day one hundred thirteen.
So instead of watching an airshow tonight on base, Gavin and I spent the night on the couch watching his new favorite movie, Bolt. The weather wasn't bad tonight but by the morning it is not supposed to be nice at all, hoping it clears up for the rest of the weekend's air shows!!

Day One hundred and twelve.

Who would've thought someone could be so happy after only napping 30 minutes all day?? My solar powered baby apparently! Her morning nap didn't happen because she was too busy, and the afternoon nap was interrupted the the USAF Thunderbirds practice that was happening literally in our backyard. We went out later to enjoy the sun, because word on the street is that we are in for some nasty bad weather tomorrow :(

Day One Hundred and Eleven.

This fence is becoming a problem for Gromit. He escapes nearly every day now. He goes under the fence in a spot where the yard/ground isn't even. He's after squirrels but also dogs that come to close to the fence are fair play (in his mind) also. I don't know what we're going to do, besides move and put in a hefty privacy fence! For now, he's on lockdown and can't go out unsupervised, which makes for one very mournful whippet.

Today's picture is pretty much what I saw all day , the back of my eyelids. I caught the stomach bug and have been so sick all day and when I wasn't sick I was asleep. So glad Andrew was home to keep the kids alive!

Day One Hundred and Nine.

Macro Monday- I feel like I spent all day picking up toys. And the house is still a disaster. Kudos/brownie points if you recognize this toy. Moms of infants and toddlers probably have an unfair advantage ;).

Day One Hundred and Eight.

Today is Wallace's FOURTH birthday! :) Happy birthday Wally woo! He celebrated with a special dinner, new squeaky pig and bones (that he had to share with Gromit). It rained so he didn't get to bask in the sun like I'm sure he would've preferred, but maybe tomorrow??

And about the picture and the editing "style"...
ya'll I HATE selective coloring...but I tried it as a joke on tonight's picture, and *gulp* I liked it.
*hangs head in shame* The picture just didn't look right any other way to me...Ahh, well, there's a first time for everything I suppose.

Day one hundred and seven. No time for real pictures, a mean stomach bug has settled in at our house. :( Ellie has been a sick snuggle bug all day though.

Day one hundred and six.
Went out for dinner at the boardwalk, and went for a walk afterwards. Lucky Gavin got to see a train on the train bridge which totally made his day!

Day One Hundred and Five.
I know a few days ago I posted a picture of Andrew reading Goodnight Moon to the kids, but I finally caught Ellie girl pointing along to the story like she usually does each night. Daddy taught her how to point while reading this story and now she loves pull books off of shelves and "read" them, talking and cooing and pointing the whole time. This is quite the improvement because up until a few weeks ago, books were only for eating :)

Day One Hundred and Four.

Poor Gavin. Today was NOT his day. This "bumbly bee" stung him while he was playing at a friend's house. The neighbor's mom brought him back home crying, and after I fixed him up with ice and benadryl...The other neighbor suggested I make the bee my picture of the day :) The bee was still in the grass (hadn't died yet, or rather Leah hadn't smushed him yet!) So I took the opportunity to get a macro of a bee, something I've wanted to do for awhile. I only wish it hadn't been because Gavin had been stung (he stepped on the bee while playing in the grass).

Day One Hundred and Three.

Today was the perfect day to get outside and play. We played in the sand box, and on the tricycle and most importantly, we played with the sidewalk chalk. Gavin drew train tracks and plenty of letter O's and U's...(they are his favorites right now). He asked me to write his name, and my name and draw little stick figures and lightning bolts??...Until the next rain our front walk is quite a sight!

Day One Hundred and Two.

:) Finally captured some bubbles with my macro lens for macro Monday :) I love the reflections! A big thank you to my sweet husband for putting up with my crazy ideas and blowing bubbles (and catching them!) ...Gavin wanted to help too, poor sweet little guy yelled, " I blow bubbles for your camera too Mama!".

Day One Hundred and One.

So for the past week or so, Gavin has been waking up before the rest of us and climbing into Ellie's crib with her. He brings ALL of his stuffed animals and blankets with him, and usually a story book or two. And then he snuggles in with her. He won't stay in there for me to get a picture, so this was the best I could do, her with all her "fwiends" as Gavin calls them :)

Day One Hundred!

What a busy day today! Every day seems like it flies by lately, and it never seems to slow down! Except at bed time, when the kids curl up with Daddy for their favorite bedtime story...Goodnight Moon. Gavin has read it almost every night of his life, and has memorized it now, so he recites the story as Daddy reads it to Ellie. And she points out all the little things she sees (mostly the bunnies! her favorites, of course!)

Day Ninety-Nine.
Our MOPS group had a family fun night, and this was the highlight of Gavin's night, all day I told him if he was good he'd get to ride a "pony" tonight. The pony turned out to be a horse, and Gavin yelled "Bullseye" (Toy Story 2 reference anyone??) He also wanted his face painted like Pongo from 101 Dalmations...Can you tell we like Disney movies in our house?  And guess I need a special picture tomorrow for my 100th picture. I honestly can't believe I'm still going!!

Day ninety-eight

Little Ellie got tubes in her ears and her adenoids removed today. She was too cute and sleepy! in her retro-looking koala rocketship hospital gown. Aside from a ton of (understandable) grouchiness, she's doing great :)

Day Ninety-Seven.
It finally rained today, and Gavin begged to go out and jump in puddles. He remembered he had a new umbrella from our trip to the Day out with Thomas, and couldn't wait to test it out...

Gavin said, "Mama...these are called dragons...See them roar?!" "ROOOOOAAARRR!!!"

Day Ninety-Five.

Macro Monday- this is one my sage blooms. I'm totally surprised it's blooming this early, but it's beautiful and I'm not complaining. Wish it hadn't been so windy- I tried bubble macro again today...and alas, the bubbles were all blown far far away before I could capture any of them...I love the contrasting colors in this one though :)

Day Ninety-One.
Gavin threw a fit when Andrew put in Lion King to watch tonight...he didn't want anything to do with "the tiger movie"...*sigh* Ellie on the other hand...LOVED it, and swayed back and forth to all the songs and would've watched the whole movie I think. Sorry for two days of crappy pictures, I'm a tad.overwhelmed. right now with editing/shooting right now, and just don't even want to see my camera once I've done all that stuff all day!
