Test run of costumes went pretty well. Trying to get all of them to behave for a picture...ehhh not so much. At least if they don't cooperate on the night of actual trick or treating (likely) I have proof of Halloween.

day two hundred ninety-four.
Baby sister intends for me to feel awful until I have her I think. At least everyone laid down for a Curious George marathon during Liam's nap, even Grom. He prefers to nap on baby sister.
And later we ventured out for a little fresh air, Owen picked me a lovely bouquet. Sweet boy always picking me flowers and bringing me home treasures from school (usually enough acorns to feed a small army of squirrels!)

The squadron Halloween party was a hit with the kids (as usual). We really need to go back so I can get my usual comparison shots, but the hard part is chasing all four while waddling around. Phew.

Finally felt good enough to put the 135 to the test in crazy awesome sunset light.
There was no gorgeous sunlight here, but she was out of cooperation anyways.
