Day Two Hundred Seventy-Two.
Don't let the picture fool you. They have been at each others throats all day (except Owen, unless it involves Ellie and then- yes, she has been trying to kill him all day too). Grouchy children today for sure :) There was no bribery involved for this picture, none whatsoever.

Day Two Hundred Seventy-One.
I thought he would think this was pretty awesome. Mommy slaved away picking out the letters in the ABCs 123s to spell his name...except there were no G's. So I gave him the bowl hoping he wouldn't notice and he says, "Hey! It looks sorta like my name, but that's not a "G" and the "I"
looks funny too!"
I told him he needed to smile about it anyways, because Mommy tried.

Owen was a bit sad that I wouldn't let him get down at the park and crawl around on the ground (or follow big brother and sister into the sprayground)....
He tried to get my friend Lisa to take him in....

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Nine.
Baby girl was excited about the splash park still being open until she got...splashed/sprayed in the face (I actually caught it on camera but she looked truly terrified so I'm not posting it). Here she was snuggled up in her towel and milking it with the other mamas this morning. She acted pretty pitiful for awhile ;)

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Eight.
I had so much fun chasing this sweet family around tonight. They are adorable and their two boys are so precious! Big brother kept me laughing as he found "hippopotamus tracks" and wanted me to help him find a lion and a tiger :) I'm so glad they will be moving to our next base with us, it's nice to at least have one friendly face to pick out of the crowd!!
It was super hot again, but at least the light looks fall-ish. ;) I can't wait for proper fall weather so I can get out my boots and scarves and drink coffee without sweating!

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Seven.
Sigh. You would think they would be used to me aiming the camera at them by now. But they were all (yes, all!) pretty unhappy to be dragged out to a new location tonight for me to test before a family session tomorrow. ;)
(What you can't hear the "Go away Mama?!"- from Miss Sassy pants?)
Gav was a little bit better. But after this was really naughty and ran away. (Daddy caught him and let's just say many tears ensued because he lost his trip for ice cream because of it).
Except my most precious little Owen...he knows how to make Mama happy :) Sit still, make eye contact and SMILE that most adorable gummy smile!
But...{grumpy} husband did manage to take a few of me with my kiddos too :) So it wasn't a total loss!

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Six.
We had a good day. Daddy came home in time for dinner, and after dinner Gavin got Daddy to help him climb the tree in the backyard. Armed with his bug box and a handful of acorns, Gavin was determined to catch a squirrel. At least he didn't fall out of the tree. ;) And thankfully the squirrels all ran away!

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Five.
(One Hundred Days to go!)
Baby brother gets knocked over and poked quite a bit now that he's sitting up. He seems so much more interactive now (and I think big brother and sister realize it and try to play with and include him in so much more now!)
P.S. Since Owen was born on Day 60 of the year- I realized through the P365 that not only are there 100 days to go and (less than 100 till we move!), but Owen is 205 days old! Funny little trivia I suppose!

Day Two Hundred Sixty-Three.
Since O can finally sit without toppling over, I attempted some six month portraits. Thanks to my helpers I almost lost my mind. (I hate that photographing my own children drives me bonkers!)
And once these were done, Gavin took great joy in trying to chop off one of Ellie's pigtails with scissors (today's "school" lesson had been in how to use scissors...) It's not too bad, like a friend said, "she's got layers!" but scissors are banned for awhile.

As far as spiders go, I think this guy was pretty cute :)

Day Two Hundred Fifty-Five.
Why yes that is my kiddo on top of the rock climbing rock at the playground....in his underwear? Yes. We had a MOPS play date today and most of us thought the water at the sprayground was off for the year...it wasn't and it was too cruel to keep them out of the water...so Gavin and Ellie got soaked and finally I (and the other mamas!) stripped everyone down to their undies ;)

Day Two Hundred Fifty-One.
This morning he wanted to draw, and draw and draw some more. I think after we move I'm definitely going to look into art classes or something like that. The kid LOVES to draw. This morning it was a Mama Dragon and her baby ;)
And for fun- An instagram picture of him tonight, in the last rays of the beautiful sunset (it feels so much like fall, I love it!!).

Day Two Hundred Fifty!
Owen seemed to enjoy himself at the playground tonight, just had to keep Gavin from swinging him too high and fast. It was the first time in the big swing, he looked alternately so small and so big. And his shoes...totally worth all the trouble it took getting high top chucks on a wiggly six-month old, don't you think??

Day Two Hundred Forty-Nine.
Farewell old friend! I sold my first dslr to one of my best friends. I will miss it but I know it's getting a fabulous home and I hope she loves it as much as I did. :) That camera was the start of a fabulous love for capturing all the moments in my family's life, that eventually led to my wonderful business. And, I really did tear up, boxing it up for her. (Dork!) It was good to me and taught me so much about photography and even myself :) Can't wait to see what you do with it Anne :)

I actually needed an umbrella today, and it barely cracked 80 degrees. Wow! I enjoyed a kid free outing this afternoon thanks to my sweet hubby who is visiting for the holiday weekend :)

Park a digger next to our house and they will come...The big kids admired this thing allllll during dinner and so I said if they ate everything on their plates, they could go see it. (Let's hope they leave the darn thing there for awhile, it was great bribery!)
